Victoria Brilliant Smile Makeovers
Drs. Pite & Philip understand well the importance of proper planning in working on someone’s smile. Rarely do we plan our aesthetic patient’s smiles by stopping at the canine teeth – we prefer to stop before or continue beyond the canines. We understand that this important junction to the back teeth should not be highlighted when at a social setting and somebody sees you from a side angle. The back teeth are important in the planning. So are the gum heights – whether they differ in height, or simply show too much in general when smiling (also known as a gummy smile as you can see on the right)
Gone are the days of fake, denture-looking porcelain work with bad length:width ratios most particularly with the two front teeth in picture here.
Instead, we are able to achieve true life-like appearance with softening colourations as well as proper surface characteristics and translucency as on the right.
