Victoria Dentist of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr. Adam W Pite is a genuine, caring dentist with a small-town personality who has had extensive experience in complex dentistry. He has attended post-graduate training at Vancouver General Hospital is an instructor with the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies and is co-director of Aesthetic Boot Camp study club in Burnaby, BC. Dr. Pite is trained in IV Sedation and performs implant and grafting surgery. He has provided oral care for the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre, and Dr. Pite continues to care for cancer patients here on the Island.

He spends considerable time with continuing education. Dr. Pite is active in numerous study clubs, including Practical Clinical Occlusion and The Esthetic Study Team with the internationally-renowned prosthodontist, Dr. John Nasedkin, Endodontics with Dr. Hugh Maguire, Vancouver Dental Education Centre with Dr. Wilson Kwong, Foundations of Esthetic Dentistry with Dr. Jan Roberts and the Vancouver Neuromuscular group with Dr. Steven Hill. He has also recently completed the Maxicourse, an intensive year long surgery-based implant program through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Pite is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is seeking accreditation with both academies.

For leisure, Dr. Pite values time spent with friends and family. Volunteer work has taken him to community clinics in many parts of the province and he has provided dentistry abroad in Vietnam, Cambodia and Tanzania. It also finds him scuba diving at the Vancouver Aquarium to clean the dolphin tank. Dr. Pite has developed a true passion for the West Coast with underwater photography, snowboarding, fishing, sailing, mountain trekking, and he is presently training to run the Victoria Marathon in the fall.
